Travel Itenerary
Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu
Arrive at Paro International Airport and transfer to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital. On the way, enjoy scenic views of the Paro Valley. In Thimphu, visit landmarks like the Buddha Dordenma statue, Tashichho Dzong, and Memorial Chorten. Explore the local markets to experience the vibrant Bhutanese culture.
Day 2: Excursion to Punakha
Drive to Punakha, known for the magnificent Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of the Pho and Mo rivers. Explore this architectural masterpiece and its surrounding gardens. On the return journey, stop at Dochu La Pass for panoramic views of the Himalayas, offering an unforgettable experience.
Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing
In the morning drive back to Thimphu. Discover more of Thimphu’s attractions, including Changangkha Monastery, the National Library, and Simply Bhutan, a living museum showcasing traditional Bhutanese life. Enjoy a leisurely stroll around the Handicrafts Market and visit the Wangchuk Resort or BBS Tower for beautiful views of the city.
Day 4: Paro Tigers nest Hike
Drive back to Paro and embark on a scenic hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktshang), perched on a cliffside, for stunning views of the valley below.
Day 5: Departure from Paro
On your last day, enjoy a relaxed morning in Paro before being transferred to Paro International Airport for your departure.
